Tapashi Devchoudhury

Born in a Hindu Brahmin family in Northeast India, Tapashi was introduced to asanas very early by her father, and the wisdom of ancient Hindu philosophies by her mother. Such ancestral wisdom has brought her a deep understanding of the subtleties of oriental philosophy and the connections between body, mind and spirit.
Fascinated by ancient healing techniques, she is passionate about re-introducing this wisdom to the contemporary world. Tapashi teaches meditation, mantra chanting and asanas. Her style of teaching is a blend of traditional hatha yoga and qi-kung.

"Tapashi was a beautiful revelation. Her intuition and kindness put me at total ease. I was open and ready and therefore willing to go with the flow. After the treatment I felt like I’d had an out of body experience - seriously. My dreams that night were a kaleidoscope. Very powerful. I would recommend her without reservation."

"Tapashi immediately made me feel at ease and the session unfolded in a very relaxed and unobtrusive manner. The memories and attached emotions which surfaced and then were released, were both unexpected and beautiful in their significance for me"

"I was rather skeptical of the idea of trauma release by massage. However, I was open to trying. I found the experience both pleasant and a bit unpleasant, easy and difficult. I do think the benefits from the sessions would be best with a series of sessions and not just one"
